Our firefighters and ETMC paramedics are ready to serve you in any capacity 24/7. It is our goal to provide quality service in a timely fashion.
We hope you never need our services, but if you do, we will treat you like family. Our weekly meetings are on Tuesday nights at 7:00 PM, and you are welcome to come by for a visit.

Learn More About ESD 12Henderson County ESD 12 is a local government entity established under Texas law to provide fire protection and emergency response outside the Chandler city limits.
We’re governed by a board of commissioners and funded by local property taxes to support the Chandler Volunteer Fire Department.
Prevention of fires, rescues, and accidental exposure to hazardous materials through public education and awareness. Beyond fire calls, we assist police, extract crash victims, and support other fire departments.
Readiness to respond to fires, rescues, and accidental exposure to hazardous materials through professional and effective training, diligent acquisition and maintenance of equipment, and safe and prompt response to emergencies.
Our firefighters visit local schools to teach children about fire safety, emergency preparedness, and the importance of calling 911. We also engage with the community through public events and outreach programs.
Henderson County ESD 12 proudly supports a highly trained volunteer fire department that stands ready to respond to emergencies throughout our district.
These volunteers dedicate their time to protecting lives and property, often responding to fires, accidents, and rescue situations, without receiving compensation.
Community tax dollars play a crucial role in making this service possible. Through the Emergency Services District, local property taxes help fund firefighter training, safety gear, equipment, and ongoing education.
Thanks to your contributions, in 2025, the fire department was able to purchase a 2024 Rosenbauer Warrior six-man cab. It has a 1000-gallon tank, 1500 GPM, and a Rowe CAFS system.
